As February unfolds, we’re embracing the spirit of springtime and all the delightful happenings that come with it. 🌸 Let’s dive into what’s unfolding at Neighbourhood Network this month!

🥞 Pancake Tuesday & Valentine’s Day

This month, we’re celebrating two things close to our hearts – delicious food and spreading love. Whether you’re flipping pancakes or sharing a sweet moment with a neighbour, it’s all about creating warm connections. We have to admit, we do love to indulge on some very sweet pancake toppings and it seems we are not alone! with a high number of you voting for Chocolate / Hazelnut Spread and Golden Syrup toppings on our Instagram poll. Make sure you are following us @neighbourhoodnetworkirl as we are starting to grow our Instagram community and have lots of exciting content to share.

 

📺 TV Spotlight – Street Feast on RTE Nationwide!

We’re beyond excited to share that Street Feast Tallaght featured on RTE’s Nationwide this week! Guest presenter and broadcaster, John Murray, took us on a trip down memory lane, exploring the sights of the area where he lived and grew up in Tallaght. A fantastic showcase of community spirit and togetherness. You can watch the show here, Street Feast is shown in the first 5 minutes!

 

🗓️ Save the Date – Street Feast May 25th and 26th

If you haven’t done so already! Mark your calendars for our national Street Feast event! It’s going to be a feast for the senses, bringing communities together for a celebration like no other. Just check out the photos on the Street Feast Facebook and you’ll be hooked! AND if the smiling faces and positive energy of the event photos give you the urge to get involved… We are launching online registrations for this year’s Street Feast on Monday 26th February. The growing Neighbourhood Network team is buzzing working on both ongoing and new projects, all dedicated to building happier, healthier communities across Ireland. The Home Together, Our Shared Plate and Street Feast teams are busy working on developing impactful campaigns to neighbourhoods far and wide! Go Team!
