What To Do

1.

Get your hands on some fairy lights

You can find outdoor fairy lights in your local gardening centres and like most things, they can be ordered online. Solar powered fairy lights are the best way to do some sustainable, weather resistant decorating.

2.

Decorate

Wrap the fairy lights around a tree in your front garden. If you don’t have a tree, try a bush or even your fence or front gate. Let your neighbours know that you plan on decorating and encourage them to do the same in their gardens.

You could set an evening aside where you all decorate, and count down to switching all your lights on at the same time.

Having a neighbourhood of twinkling front gardens is a really simple way to add a bit of magic to your community!
