Virtual Wine Tasting
If you’ve been catching up with friends and family on Zoom, chances are you’ve had a glass of wine in your hand. Why not take things one step further and do a virtual wine tasting? Tune into Wines Direct on Facebook on Fridays at 6pm to listen to Gareth and Gavin Keogh talking through some of their wines and answering questions. Each Tuesday they announce the wines to be featured so you have plenty of time to order your bottles in advance.
Michelle Lawlor, runs virtual wine tastings on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8.30pm on Nude Wine TV on Instagram. You can order the drink in a box of three wines for roughly €50 from her website.
The Better World Pledge
Belfast optimist Sarah Hughes is urging people to pledge to make a better world when lockdown lifts. The Better World Pledge is a simple way for anyone to make a visible record of the positive aspects of their lockdown experience which they would like to continue into post-lockdown life, to make a better world for themselves, their family, friends and community.
Read more about the Better World Pledge here or join Sarah’s journey on Facebook here.
