We’re delighted to publish our 2024 Annual Report

The report begins with a letter from our Chairperson, Louise Callaghan. Here’s an extract from her remarks:

“It is with great pride that I reflect on the remarkable progress Neighbourhood Network has made over the past year. Our mission to foster strong, resilient, and connected communities has never been more relevant, and 2024 has been a testament to the impact of our work. Through initiatives like Street Feast, Home Together, and Our Shared Plate, we have continued to bring people together, strengthening the social fabric of neighbourhoods across Ireland.

This year, we saw the tangible results of our efforts: 75,440 participants gathered for Street Feast, thousands of residents took part in Home Together initiatives and the growing success of Our Shared Plate’s sustainability-focused initiatives. Street Feast expanded its reach with new partnerships, including 16 Local Authorities and a range of community groups, enhancing its visibility and impact.

Home Together fostered deep connections among residents, with survey results showing a significant increase in neighbourly trust and cooperation.

Meanwhile, Our Shared Plate made remarkable strides in food sustainability, creating thriving community gardens and fostering environmental awareness.
