22 Mar NN #27: Your Next Local Project
We hope that the beating heart of community shines through in this weeks newsletter, and inspires you to keep your spirits up and get involved in your local area!
In these challenging times, it’s important to remember to spread some love in our local communities. No matter how difficult things have been in the past year, we are as resilient as ever!
Heart of the Community Fund
Support for your community efforts
The Ireland Funds’ ‘The Heart of the Community Fund’ offers awards up to €5,000 for small, not-for-profits and community organisations with an annual turnover of less than €/£500,000.
This is a great opportunity to get some financial support for your local community efforts. The fund “aims to provide critical and timely funding to a wide range of not-for-profit and community organisations across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.”
The Heart of the Community Fund is open now and will accept applications online until 3:00pm on Thursday, April 8, 2021.
Creating cross-generational connections
Exciting news! Due to popular demand, we’re kicking off another round of the Wicklow Time Machine project with Creative Ireland and Wicklow County Council.
We are on the lookout for Community Organisers to help bring the project to life in their areas. So if you live in Co.Wicklow and work in a school, youth group or sports club, are a member of a residents association or community group, or work with teenagers or seniors in another respect we’d love to hear from you.
To apply, email email@example.com
We are accepting expressions of interest until March 29th. We hope you get in touch!
